This billboard is meant to advertise a charity event held at Detroit’s Eastern Market on March 8th called “Empty Bowls Detroit”. Empty Bowls Detroit raises money for a food program at a Detroit-based agency called Cass Community Social Services. During this event participants will pay to receive a ceramic bowl that they will paint and get to keep as a reminder the there is always someone who has an empty bowl. This event donates all proceeds to CCSS and also provides awareness that there are people suffering in the
Detroit community that need our help and support.
